Tina and Josh

MAY- 2007
Wedding Shoot

I was so honored to be a part of this couple's wedding. It was my first wedding and I enjoyed the day so much! The couple decided to wed outdoors in an orchard. They each had one witness but that was the extent of the tastefully small wedding. The bride wore a beautiful pink gown and a flower in her hair. She could not have looked more lovely. What a delight!

As a photographer my only obstacles were the trees casting patterned shadow and the cramped room in which everyone met to eat dinner afterward. It was a blessing for me to have these people as my first wedding shoot.

Pin-up Shoot

Pin-Up Shoot

I was excited to be able to do my first pre-wedding "Pin-Up" shoot. This is a shoot added to wedding packages where the bride can take some fun pictures that she can give the groom on their wedding day. The bride and I had lots of fun with these pictures. Here are a few-

Carrie- Artistic Shoot

MAY- 2007
Artistic Shoot

Carrie was seeking pictures to use for programs, invitations, and posters for her Voice Recital. A lover of jazz, she didn't want anything too traditional and was looking for shots that conveyed various emotions. She was thrilled with the outcome.

Sisters- May 2007

MAY- 2007
Family Shoot

I had a great time shooting these sisters. They were shooting the beginning of May in hopes that we would be able to have pictures ready for a Mother's Day gift. We were able to get through the shoot and editing in time. I'm sure the Mother appreciated their efforts very much.

Engagement Shoot- Chris and Stacey

APRIL- 2007
Engagement Shoot

This past Sunday I had the pleasure to shoot two lovely, easy going people. They will wed this July. We went to Hazel Able Park in Lincoln, NE. The couple had sentimental ties to this park having spent one of their first dates there, walking and talking and enjoying each other's company.

Not wanting over posed, stiff pictures, we strolled through the park as the couple talked to me about how they met and when they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They were at times very aware of the camera, but there were other moments caught by the camera, tender and authentic moments this couple can cherish as time passes and this engagement period becomes a distant beautiful memory.

Meghan-Senior Photo Shoot

APRIL- 2007
Senior Shoot/Friends Shoot

I had such a wonderful time shooting a Senior this past weekend. I had been thinking about this shoot quite a lot before we met. I knew she wanted to involve a good friend in some pictures and her rather large dog in others. We agreed to meet at Antelope Park here in Lincoln, NE. The dog was well behaved and the overcast sky made for wonderful light!

Fortunately my client thought ahead and had a family member come and take the dog away for the rest of the shoot. I can't recommend this enough. We had a slight bit of rain but not enough to stop shooting. So we traveled to our next site, Hazel Able Park, also here in town.

Here we shot both individual pictures of my client as well as pictures with her classmate. The sun moved in and out of the clouds throughout the rest of the shoot. The girls were animated and cheerful. Truly a beautiful day for a photographer.
